The Gold Coast region has a deserved reputation as a quality centre of education. Coomera, as such a major regional growth hub, is very well served by education facilities.
The brand new Coomera Clubhouse for Early Childhood Learning is due to open in February 2011. This new child care centre with great services and facilities will be located right opposite the Coomera Springs oval in the heart of the estate. The Clubhouse will welcome babies from six weeks old, up to school aged children for before and after school care, and vacation programs.
Coomera Springs State School, immediately adjacent to our community, is an impressive facility that opened in 2008. It is one of several state primary schools in the vicinity, including Coomera (5 minutes), Oxenford, Pimpama and Helensvale.
We are also fortunate to say that our local state secondary school, Upper Coomera State College, is regarded as one of Queensland's most advanced and progressive public colleges.
Coomera Springs is spoilt for choice in the range of private school options on our doorstep –nearby Coomera Anglican College, Saint Stephens College, catering for pre-school to Year 12, and the recently established Assisi Catholic College, all offering Prep to Year 12 classes.
The Gold Coast's major tertiary facilities, Griffith University and the Institute of TAFE, are centred around Southport (15 minutes), and the acclaimed private Bond University is at Robina, with easy rail and bus connections. A TAFE college and university campus are planned as part of the emerging Coomera Town Centre nearby.
Coomera Springs - it's a smart move.
